► How do I use saved drafts?
Drafts are saved in your browser. They stay there until you clear them, but to keep them safe long-term or move them to another computer, save them as files.
Saving a draft for safekeeping:
Find the client in the list above
Click Export next to their name
Save the .json file to your network drive, desktop, or document system
That file is your permanent copy — it won't disappear if the browser is cleared
Replacing a draft with one you saved elsewhere:
Click Import Draft above
Find the .json file you previously exported
It will replace the existing draft for that client automatically
The client will then appear in the list — click Restore to continue working
Backing up everything at once:
Click Save All Drafts to download one file containing every client draft
Store it somewhere safe — a network drive or firm document system works well
Use Import All Drafts to restore everything on any machine
Important: Drafts are not .ism files. Always save your final work as an .ism file for the desktop application. Drafts are a safety net, not a replacement for saving your work.
